Apple German Chocolate Cake

- 1 can or 21 oz. apple pie filling
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c. mini chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
Directions

1Place pie filling in a blender; cover and process until the apples are in 1/4-inch chunks.

2Pour into a mixing bowl; add dry cake mix and eggs.

3Beat on medium speed for 5 minutes.

4Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan.

5Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.

6Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.

7Cool and then cut.

8Makes 12 to 15 servings.
