- 2 large Granny Smith apples, quartered and cored
- 3/4 c. walnuts (about 3 oz.)
- 1/4 c. kosher sweet red wine (such as Manischewitz)
- 2 tsp. honey
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Place the apples and walnuts in a food processor and pulse until fairly finely chopped.

2Transfer to a bowl and stir in red wine, honey and cinnamon.

3Serve chilled or at room temperature. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

4The Apple Haroset can be refrigerated, covered, for up to 6 hours.
