  • 5 each Green Tomatoes
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Oil

Directions

    Preheat oil in skillet.

    Slice tomatoes 1/4 inch thick.

    Sprinkle with Salt

    Dredge tomatoes in Buttermilk then in Flour, pressing flour into the tomatoes lightly.

    Fry until golden brown on both sides.

    Season with Salt and Pepper.

    Serve hot.
