  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12 cup bourbon whiskey, your favorite variety
  • 2 granny smith apples, cored, peeled and diced
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced

Directions

    Heat a large saute pan over medium-high heat.

    Combine all the ingredients in the preheated pan, stirring frequently.

    Saute until the mixture is reduced by about 50% and the sauce is thick and syrupy.
