- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 2 1/2 c. pared, sliced McIntosh apples (or baking apples of your choice)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 egg
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Cut butter into cake mix (dry) until crumbly.

3Pat mixture lightly into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; build up slight edge.

4Bake for 10 minutes.

5Have apples ready, mixed with sugar and cinnamon (blend to create juice).

6Arrange apple slices on warm crust.

7Blend sour cream and egg; drizzle over apples to cover.

8Bake for 25 minutes at 350°, until edges are light brown.
