Apple Mousse Recipe

  • 4 lrg Cooking apples
  • 2/3 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 1/3 c. Water
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch

Directions

    Peel & core the apples.

    Slice them reasonably thinly & place in a large saucepan.

    Add in the sugar & water & cook till the apples are very soft.

    When cooked, sprinkle in the cornstarch, stirring & beating to ensure which there are no lumps.

    Stir in the lemon juice.

    Set aside to cold.

    When cold, it doesn't have to be cool, place in a blender & blend till smooth.

    Pour into 4 small dessert dishes & refrigeratetill ready to serve.

    Serve with jam cookies.
