Apple Pecan Sheet Cake

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. chopped apples, cooked or canned

Directions

  1. 1
    Sift flour, soda and salt together. Combine oil, sugar and eggs in mixer bowl. Beat until thick and lemon-colored. Add dry ingredients at low speed until smooth. Stir in apples, pecans, cinnamon and vanilla. Spoon into greased 11 x 14 sheet cake pan. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
