  • 1 c. brown sugar, split
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • pie shell

Directions

    Cut up apples as for regular pie.

    Add 1/2 cup brown sugar and pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Mix flour, remaining brown sugar and butter until crumbly.

    Spread this mixture over the top.

    Bake at 350° until apples are tender and crust is golden, about 40 to 50 minutes.
