- 6 1/2 c. peeled and sliced Granny Smith apples
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/4 c. sugar (mix white and brown together)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- Pinch of salt if self-rising flour
- 2 prepared pie crusts
Directions

1Toss apples with lemon juice.

2Mix with remaining ingredients.

3Let sit for 5-10 minutes, occasionally stirring. Pour into pie crust.

4Dot top of pie with pieces of butter.

5Place top crust over pie.

6Cut vents in top crust.

7Crimp edges together.

8Bake 45 minutes on top rack at 425°.
