Apple Pie With Custard Cream

- 1 base puff pastry
- 3 apples cut in thin slices
- almond flakes
- ground cinnamon to taste
- brown sugar to taste
- 2 1/8 cups milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 5/8 cup sugar
- 3 5/8 tablespoons margarine softened
- 2 7/8 tablespoons custard flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2Spread dough in the pie mold, prick the bottom with a fork. Set aside.

3Reserve.

4Prepare the cream for the filling.

5(I used the Thermomix machine, at the link of the original recipe you can view how it is done in the traditional fashion).

6Place all ingredients in the cup of the cream and beat for a few seconds in speed 4. Then program 7 min., Temp. 90 speed 4. While the cream is cooking, peel the apples and place the well distributed slices over the puff pastry. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon.

7Place the cream filling over the apples and distribute the flaked almonds over it , sprinkling with brown sugar and cinnamon. Bake for about 25 minutes until the pastry is golden brown. Remove and let it cool.
