- 4 large pork chops
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. apple juice
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 4 thin slices lemon
- 1 envelope dry brown gravy mix
Directions

1Season pork chops with salt and pepper; brown in medium size skillet.

2Drain off excess fat.

3Add one cup apple juice and water; cover and simmer 30 minutes.

4Add raisins; place lemon slice on each pork chop.

5Cover and simmer 15 minutes longer or until pork chops are tender.

6Remove pork chops from skillet.

7Mix remaining one half cup of apple juice and dry gravy mix, stirring until smooth; add to pan juices.

8Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

9Serve gravy over pork chops.
