Ingredients
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 stick margarine (low-fat if desired)
Directions

1Mix all together and stir over low heat until margarine melts and it thickens.

2Cool some, then add 4 or 5 thinly chopped apples.

3Mix well and pour into 8 x 9-inch dish.

4Top with Cool Whip.

5Decorate with chopped nuts and/or cherries, if desired. (Double the recipe for 9 x 13-inch pan.)
