- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, with juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 5 apples, chopped
- Cool Whip
- 3/4 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Beat egg and pour into saucepan.

2Add flour, sugar, vinegar and pineapple with juice.

3Cook over medium heat, stirring until thick.

4Put in refrigerator to cool.

5Meanwhile, chop apples (Granny Smith for tartness or Jonathan for color) and do not peel. Fold apples into cooled mixture and add Cool Whip and nuts.

6Put into serving bowl.

7Sprinkle with nuts.
