Ingredients

  • 4 Granny Smith apples
  • Small bunch of grapes
  • 1 20 oz. can pineapple
  • 3/4 c. pecans
  • 2 tsp. poppy seeds
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. mayo
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water

Directions

    Peel and cut apples into pieces.

    Add grapes and pecans.

    Drain pineapple and save juice.

    Add pineapple to apple mixture. Bring juice, butter and sugar to boil.

    Turn down heat and add lemon juice.

    Mix cornstarch and cold water and add to juice mixture. When sauce thickens, remove from heat.

    Cool.

    Add poppy seeds and mayo.

    Fold into fruit and nut mixture.

    Chill and serve.
