- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 15 1/2 oz. pineapple, undrained (crushed or chunks)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 apples
- medium size Cool Whip
- nuts, cherries (optional)
Directions

1Cook first four ingredients in saucepan until thick.

2Cool slightly (15 to 20 minutes).

3Peel and chop apples.

4Fold into mixture.

5Put in 9 x 9-inch dish.

6Chill.

7Top with Cool Whip. Garnish with nuts or cherries.
