Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 15 1/2 oz. pineapple, undrained (crushed or chunks)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 apples
  • medium size Cool Whip
  • nuts, cherries (optional)

Directions

    Cook first four ingredients in saucepan until thick.

    Cool slightly (15 to 20 minutes).

    Peel and chop apples.

    Fold into mixture.

    Put in 9 x 9-inch dish.

    Chill.

    Top with Cool Whip. Garnish with nuts or cherries.
