  • Prepare the slaw:
  • 1 medium head of white cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 red onion, julienne, or a sweet onion (leave out if not in season)
  • 2 large apples of your choice, preferably sweet; julienne or cut into french fry size
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons of celery seed
  • 1/2 cup of sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup of cranraisins or raisins
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
