Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. cooking oil; 2 c. sugar; 3 eggs; 3 c. plain flour, sifted; 1 tsp. soda; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1 tsp. vanilla extract; 3 c. finely chopped apple, peeled; 1 c. chopped nuts; 1 tsp. salt; 1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. plain flour, sifted
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. finely chopped apple, peeled
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Cream oil and sugar; add eggs (one at a time) and beat well together.

Sift flour with soda, salt and cinnamon and add to oil mixture along with vanilla extract.

Fold in finely cut apple and chopped nuts.

Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 375°.

Frost with Penuche Icing.
