  • 1 13 cups water
  • 1 cup unsweetened apple juice
  • 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup apple, peeled and chopped
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks, 3 inches long

Directions

    Combine water and apple juice in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.

    Stir in rice and remaining ingredients.

    Cover and reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
