- 1 13 cups water
- 1 cup unsweetened apple juice
- 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 1 cup apple, peeled and chopped
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 2 cinnamon sticks, 3 inches long
Directions

1Combine water and apple juice in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.

2Stir in rice and remaining ingredients.

3Cover and reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

4Remove and discard cinnamon sticks.
