- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 8 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup butter
- 5 cup SR flour
- 1 sweetened dried apples
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F

2Spray a 10 inch cast iron skillet with cooking spray

3Divide dough into 20 balls all about the same size

4Roll each ball out into a thin layer that is the size of your skillet

5Do all 20 layers this way and bake one at a time in oven until golden brown.

6These cakes will be crisp.

7Cook your dried apples with a little water.

8You want them to be thick.

9When they are cool sweeten them to your liking and spread 2 tablespoons of apples between each layer of cake.

10This cake can be a 20 layer cake or you can make 2 10 layers which is what I do.

11I freeze one cake for later
