  • 1.1 kg all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 220ml vegetable oil
  • 1 whole egg
  • 500ml warm water
  • BREADCRUMBS
  • 7oz/ 200g breadcrumbs
  • 7oz 200g granulated sugar
  • 3.5 oz/100g butter , melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • Assembly
  • 900g strudel dough
  • 1.1 kg Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 120gm toasted breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 40g granulated sugar
  • 25g chopped walnuts
  • 25 g rum-soaked raisins
  • 2 tsp confectioner's sugar
