  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Cut apples into fourths.

    Heat apples and water to boiling. Reduce heat.

    Simmer, uncovered, stirring to break up apples, until tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
