  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Put first 4 ingredients in pan and heat until margarine melts. Let cool.

    Sift dry ingredients together and add to cooled mixture.

    Add nuts and mix well.

    Pour in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
