  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) can applesauce
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • Cool Whip

Directions

    In a small mixer bowl, beat eggs until thick.

    Gradually add sugar, beating well.

    Add 1 cup of the applesauce.

    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, salt and cloves.

    Fold into egg mixture.

    Spread in greased and floured 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.

    Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes, or until done.
