Applesauce Fruit Cake

Ingredients

• 3 c. all-purpose flour
• 2 c. sugar
• 1 lb. pecans
• 1 lb. raisins
• 1 tsp. nutmeg
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. allspice
• 1/2 lb. butter
• 3 eggs, beaten
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 1/2 c. applesauce
• 1 lb. fruit cake mix
• 1 lb. gumdrops
• 1 lb. candied cherries (1/2 red and 1/2 green)
• 1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
