- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cream sugar and margarine.

3Add eggs and vanilla.

4Stir in flour.

5Save 1/4 of the dough to dot the top.

6Spread out remainder of dough in jelly roll pan, 10 1/2 x 15 1/2-inch.

7Spread with Smucker's apricot preserves and sprinkle with chopped pecans, if desired.

8With teaspoon, dot remaining dough on top.

9Bake for 30 minutes.

10When cool, cut into bars.
