- 1 c. dried apricots
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Soak dried apricots in warm water for 30 minutes.

2Drain and cut up.

3Mix sugar, butter, egg, water and orange juice thoroughly.

4Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. Combine these two mixtures and blend in apricots and nuts.

5Grease loaf pan.

6Pour in batter.

7Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool on rack.
