- 1/2 c. butter
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 c. diced apricots
Directions

1Cream together the butter and sugar, add the well beaten eggs. Add flour, salt and baking powder sifted together alternately with milk.

2Turn out onto a floured board, divide into 12 or 14 portions.

3Work each smoothly, then roll out about 1/2-inch thick. Divide the fruit among the portions of dough.

4Gather the dough up over the apricots, pinching edges well together.

5Brush over with milk.

6Sprinkle with granulated sugar.

7Lay on greased pan and bake 30 minutes in moderate oven (350° to 375°).
