- 1/4 lb dried apricot halves (about 15)
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 1 pinch salt
Directions

1In a food processor, grind the apricots to a paste, add the butter and blend the mixture unti it is smooth.

2Blend in a pinch of salt to taste.

3Transfer the butter to a bowl or crock and chill, covered.

4Remove the butter from the refrigerator 15 minutes before serving.
