  • 2 12 cups apricots, chopped
  • 1 cup rice
  • sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • few almonds, peeled and chopped

Directions

    Boil the rice in water or a mixture of water and apricot nectar and sugar to taste.

    Lower flame and cook until just soft.

    Add butter and stir gently.

    Mix in the chopped apricots ensuring that you do not break the grains.

    Garnish with chopped almonds.

    Serve hot/cold with cream.
