  • 1 lb. jalapeno peppers
  • 1 (5 oz.) pkg. biscuit mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) Oven Fry for pork
  • 1 lb. bulk pork sausage
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 lb. shredded Monterey cheese

Directions

    Halve (lengthwise) and seed peppers.

    Fill each pepper half with shredded cheese and set aside.

    Add biscuit mix and remaining cheese to sausage and water; mix well with hands.

    Make a thin patty with the sausage mixture.
  5. 5
    Center a stuffed pepper on top and wrap the patty around the pepper.

    Seal edges and pinch off excess.

    Roll each pepper in the Oven Fry.

    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
