- 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
- 1/2 lb. bulk sausage
- 1 (26 oz.) can whole jalapenos, seeded and deveined
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 (6 oz.) grated Monterey Jack cheese, divided
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Shake 'n Bake
Directions

1Mix half the cheese with baking mix and sausage.

2Stuff peppers with remaining cheese.

3Pinch together lightly.

4Roll dough 1/8-inch thick. Wrap each jalapeno in dough.

5Remove excess dough and seal completely.

6Shape each like an egg.

7Roll each one in seasoned mix, dip in beaten egg and roll in seasoned mix again. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes. Can be made ahead and reheated.
