- 1 cube butter
- 2 c. long grain white rice (not instant)
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. vermicelli
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Melt butter in heavy pan.

2Break vermicelli into small pieces; saute in butter until golden brown, stirring constantly.

3Add rice; keep stirring until rice is well coated, 2 to 3 minutes. Add boiling chicken broth and salt.

4Cook, covered, on medium-low heat for 20 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.

5Fluff with fork. Serves 8.
