Ingredients

  • fresh green or yellow beans
  • red pepper
  • fresh garlic
  • fresh dill
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. salt

Directions

    Place 1/4 teaspoon red pepper, 1 clove garlic and 1 head of dill into each sterilized pint jar.

    (I use wide-mouth jars.)

    Cut off ends of beans and place vertically into jars.
  4. 4
    Boil vinegar, water and salt.
  5. 5
    Pour over beans and seal.

    Water bath for 10 minutes.
  7. 7
    Let them set for about 4 weeks before opening.
