  • 2 Tbsp. sesame or corn oil
  • 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut in strips
  • 4 green onions, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts
  • 1/4 c. pimiento strips
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

    In wok or skillet, heat oil. Add asparagus, zucchini, onions and celery. Cook, stirring frequently, 4 to 5 minutes until crisp-tender. Add water chestnuts, pimiento, soy sauce, sugar and pepper. Stir until heated through.
