Asparagus Roll-Ups

  • 20 slices white bread
  • 3 oz. Blue cheese
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can asparagus spears
  • 1/2 lb. melted butter or margarine

Directions

    Trim crusts.

    Flatten slices with rolling pin.

    Blend cheese and egg.

    Spread evenly on bread slices.

    Place asparagus spears on each slice of bread.

    Roll into log shape.

    Dip into melted butter, coating well.

    Place each log on a cookie sheet and freeze.

    When firm, slice into 3 pieces.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
