- 1 1/2 lb. asparagus, cooked just until tender and drained
- 1 tsp. tarragon leaves
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- black pepper (fresh ground)
- Italian dressing
- 1/2 c. tarragon vinegar
Directions

1Layer asparagus in a shallow pan.

2Sprinkle each layer with a few dry tarragon leaves, salt and pepper.

3Add salad dressing and vinegar; marinate overnight at room temperature.

4Drain and serve on lettuce leaves and top with mayonnaise flavored with a little of the marinade.
