- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus, cooked and drained
- 1/2 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
- 1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/3 c. commercial sour cream
Directions

1Saute onions, celery and almonds in butter until lightly browned.

2Mix soup, cheese and sour cream with celery mixture and asparagus.

3Pour into 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

4Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
