  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/3 c. commercial sour cream

Directions

    Saute onions, celery and almonds in butter until lightly browned.

    Mix soup, cheese and sour cream with celery mixture and asparagus.

    Pour into 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
