  • 3 whole eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 c. broken up pecans
  • 1 unbaked 8-inch pie shell

Directions

    Beat eggs; blend in melted butter, flour, vanilla, salt, sugar and syrup.

    Sprinkle nuts over bottom of unbaked pie shell.

    Now gently pour syrup mixture over pecans and bake in hot oven at 425° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake 40 minutes longer.
