  • 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1/2 c. dark rum
  • 1/4 lb. oleo
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. dark rum
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Grease and flour 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.

    Sprinkle nuts on bottom of pan.

    Combine cake mix, pudding, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup water, oil and 1/2 cup rum and pour into pan.

    Bake at 325° until done.
