- 1/2 kg bread cubes
- 1 kg frozen leaf spinach (defrosted)
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 rapeseed oil
- 50 grams parmesan cheese
- 1 salt
- 1 pepper
- 3 eggs
- 300 ml milk
- 1 butter
Directions

1Put the bread cubes in a large pot.

2Grate the cheese and mix it with the cubes.

3Heat the oil in a pan.

4Add the chopped onions and the garlic.

5Chop the spinach an also put it in the pan.

6Season with salt and pepper.

7Mix the warm spinach with the cubes and wait 10 minutes.

8Now whisk the eggs with the milk and mix it with the spinach-cubes.

9Let it rest for about 1 hour.

10Preheat the oven to 200C.

11Form dumplings and place them on a griddle.

12Before baking put some melted butter on them.

13Bake the dumplings for 20 minutes till they are golden brown.

14Enjoy them hot with melted butter and grated parmesan.
