  • 6 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese (1/2 lb.)

    Partially fry bacon and drain.

    Beat eggs with soup, milk, salt and pepper.

    Fold in bread crumbs and cheese.

    Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

    Bake in medium oven (350°) for 45 minutes.

    Ten minutes before casserole is done, arrange bacon slices on top.
