- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
Directions

1Cut 1/4 cup shortening into flour.

2Stir in 1/2 cup milk and bacon.

3Form soft dough and knead.

4Pat into 1/2-inch thick round. Cut 4 biscuits with 3 1/2-inch cutter.

5Beat egg and brush top with egg. Bake on ungreased sheet 10 to 12 minutes at 350°.
