Bacon Cheese Potatoes

  • 4 large baking potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. American cheese or 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or your choice

Directions

    Place potato slices on large pieces of heavy foil.

    Cover with onion, celery and green pepper.

    Season with salt, pepper and butter.

    Sprinkle with bacon and cover with cheese.

    Seal tightly. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Also can be prepared on grill.
