- 2 cups flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- pepper, to taste
- 2 large eggs
- milk
- 1 tablespoon bacon grease
- 3 -4 tablespoons browned & crumbled bacon
Directions

1Sift flour, salt and baking powder into large bowl.

2Gently stir in parsley and pepper.

3Beat eggs in measuring cup; add enough milk to make 1/2-cup liquid.

4Add egg mixture and bacon grease to dry ingredients. Stir with fork just until blended (if dough seems too dry, add a little more milk).

5Add crumbled bacon and stir until combined.

6To cook, drop spoonfuls onto simmering broth, soup or stew.

7Cover and cook until done, about 12 minutes.
