Bacon Pancakes

  • 2 cups starter
  • 1 each eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup bacon fried and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 x flour, all-purpose as needed
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

    Add egg, bacon, oil and sugar to the starter and mix briefly.

    Add flour to make desired thickness and mix until lump free.

    Just before cooking, dissolve baking soda into 1 Tablespoon of water, mix gently with batter.

    Then cook in a hot griddle by making 2 or 3 inch rounds.

    Cook for 2 to 4 minutes, turn and cook 2 more minutes.
