Bacon Potato Chowder

- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 4 med.-lg. potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1/2 c. water
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream chicken soup
- 12 oz. sour cream
- 1/2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cut bacon into pieces.

2Fry in heavy pot until crispy.

3Add onion, and saute for 5 minutes.

4Drain grease, leaving about 1 Tbsp. in pan for flavor.

5Add potatoes and water.

6Cook until potatoes are done.

7In separate bowl, combine milk, soup, sour cream and seasonings.

8Add potatoes. Heat to serving temperature. Do not boil.

9Makes 4-6 servings.
