Bacon Roll-Ups

Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. herb seasoned stuffing
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 lb. hot pork sausage
- 2/3 lb. sliced bacon
Directions

1Melt butter in water.

2Remove from heat; stir in stuffing, then egg and sausage.

3Blend thoroughly.

4Chill for 1 hour. Shape into small balls.

5Cut bacon strips into thirds, crosswise. Wrap bacon around dressing mixture and fasten with toothpick. Place on rack in shallow pan and bake at 375° for 35 minutes or until brown and crisp.

6Drain on paper towel and serve hot.

7May be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.

8Yields 36 appetizers.
