  • slices of bacon, diced
  • 4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 5 medium green onions, chopped (1/3 c.)
  • 1/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (10 oz.) bag washed fresh spinach

Directions

    Cook bacon in 12-inch nonstick skillet over low heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp.

    Stir in vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.

    Heat through, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved; remove from heat.

    Add spinach and onions to bacon mixture.

    Toss 1 to 2 minutes or until spinach is wilted.
