Bacon Wraps

  • 1 large loaf multi-grain bread
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. fresh or freeze dried chives
  • 1 lb. bacon (preferably Oscar Mayer!)

Directions

    Cut crust off bread slices, then cut slices in half (rectangles).

    Mix chives in cream cheese.

    Spread mixture on each bread slice.

    Roll bread up, then wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around rolled bread.

    Secure with toothpick.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

    Check after 10 to 15 minutes and turn wraps over to prevent overbrowning on bottom.

    Drain on towels and serve warm.
