Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 apples (Winesap or Rome)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 c. sliced almonds
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of cinnamon

Directions

    Halve and core apples. Mix honey, raisins, almonds, nutmeg and cinnamon.

    Fill each apple half with mixture and place in a greased flat baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
